First day in Manhattan
私を迎えてくれたN.Y.C.は、雨模様。
今回の宿泊は、Madison Square Gardenの真横に位置するHotel Pennsylvania。
Lou ReedのConey Island Baby と言う曲の歌詞にCity（マンハッタン）を表現した、
remember that the city is a funny place
Something like a circus or a sewer
And just remember different people have peculiar tastes
と言う一節があるけれど、相変わらずのマンハッタンの喧噪は、まさに「サーカスと下水道」の表現がぴったりだ。
さあ、何が待ち受けているか今回のマンハッタン。楽しみです。
